Why you want to start a business ….

1) money … i want ton of money

2) famous … i want to be like Tony Fernandes

3) freedom … i want to work when i want and how i want

4) no job … i been looking for 6 month now but yet no job offer

5) my current job so darn boring ..

What’s your reason?.

We been in industry at 1997 -2000 during the economy crisis. We been through the pain of VSS (Voluntary Separation Scheme) . A nicer name for you been sack.

We been through a phase where our fate is rely on somebody else hand. ( you been sack or not )

And we been through a pain of VSS by the company.

And we know that in years to come there will be still VSS coming.

As Malaysia become more expensive than other country South East Asia (Vietnam , India ) then VSS will continue.

So be prepared …

So what our reason ?.

1) We don’t want to go through pain of VSS anymore

2) We want to have fun ..

3) We want have a people friendly company.Which gave a best customer service to customer ( somehow it’s rare in Malaysia)

4) and foremost , we want to try .. at least when we old , we won’t have any regret and know we have try .

It’s true , we always want to do something. We always want to build a company .

And somehow there are always something which stop us …

1) aiyaaa ..so much money needed …. where got money

2) aiyaaa .. if i lose this money …

3) what the heck .. i don’t know how to do this

4) it’s a dum dum .. and dum dum idea

5) what license ..need licence … alamak ..

We have a lot of idea but somehow we always trap with the ‘can’t reason’.

Last year , we submit our idea to cradle ‘www.cradle.com.my’ . For 3 weeks, i been working to submit to cradle. It’s crazy. For RM50,000 it makes us to do crazy research. (Sorry RM45,000 as RM5000 for the mentor.)

I been lucky , there is a library in MCMC at Cyberjaya where there is a lot of statistic and study by MCMC. Even with that, it took me 2 week to wrote the answer from cradle. Then me and Rizal sit in Starbuck IOI mall , reviewing all details and then submit.

After submitting , the only thing to do is to wait …wait ..wait and wait .. one month past …. 2 month past .. for sure our idea is doom.

After 2 month , we got email from cradle .. yahoooooo .. they call us for interview.

We are darn excited .. We can see the RM45k in our pocket now.

Cradle called us again to finalize the interview .. Now we even sure we will get the grant.

It’s was friday afternoon, we went to see Cradle. I take a half day off. We sure got the there on time.

Feel optimistic and sure.

He he he Are we wrong… Our idea fall under the BAFIA (Banking and Institution Financial Act 1989). Thus we need a license to run this business.And to get a license we need ton on money.
